Iscoyd Park is a beautiful country house wedding venue, sitting on the borders of Cheshire, Shropshire and North Wales, perfectly located for guests travelling to a wedding there., and it's exclusive use, which means it get to become your home from home for your wedding stay, and the staff really do look after you too!

Can our guests throw confetti at our iscoyd park wedding?
Are you able to photograph us in the morning if we're at iscoyd cottage?
Yes! I love a confetti shot and that gorgeous entrance at Iscoyd Park makes the perfect setting for a grand walk through the confetti! After your ceremony, you'll pop into a side room with a drink to catch a moment, while I organise your guests outside ready for the big moment! As a Sustainable Wedding Alliance member I'll always recommend you look at the most environmentally friendly confetti options - local dried flower confetti, or make it yourself! Iscoyd have instructions on how to do that on their blog here..
Of course! Whether you're in the cottage, the main house, or chose to get ready somewhere else completely, I'm happy to be where you are! I normally cover prep for 2 hours before the ceremony, so depending on your timeline I can meet you wherever you are! I have to say, the cottage and the house are absolutely stunning prep spaces, with lots of room and light which = beautiful photos! I can also offer a second photographer if you'd like photos of both of you getting ready in the morning!
What ceremony options are there at Iscoyd?
Iscoyd Park is such a versatile venue, with options for a church ceremony at St Marys just on the edge of the estate, or a civil ceremony in one of many licensed spaces, such as the Garden Room, the Drawing Room, the Coach House, or outdoors in the garden at the Pigeon House. I'm not sure I've been at another venue with quite so many options!
Where will we do our photographs at iscoyd park?
There are so so many beautiful backdrops at Iscoyd Park, it really is a wedding photographers dream! I'll always ask if theres a certain spot you prefer for photos, otherwise I'm happy to guide you. At Iscoyd I find it works well to do formal groups on the lawn at the back of the house where everyone is enjoying the drinks reception, so guests are nearby as we need them. For portraits of just the two of you, we'll tend to do a little lap of the grounds, heading first to the front of the house where it's quieter - I know it feels easier to be photographed without an audience, and it allows a little bit of time for you to catch up before using some of the spaces in the gardens.
The big one - what if it rains?
As much as I would LOVE to say I can guarantee the weather at yout Iscoyd Park wedding, unfortunately sometimes it just doesn't play ball. Fortunately... you've chosen a venue with some of the most stunning indoor spaces. We can do groups in the Garden room for example, and portraits around the house, or of course, we can still head outside with umbrellas! I'll normally keep an eye on the forecast and head back out as soon as it clears up.
