Delamere Manor is one of my favourite Cheshire wedding venues, its perfect for my light, airy style and the grounds are just incredible. The bedrooms have the dreamiest light and space, and having the option to have an outdoor ceremony is perfect too. I’ll hand over to Kat and Dave to tell you about their day!
How did you meet/get engaged?
We met at university 7.5 years ago. Our names got picked out of a hat to be paired together on a joint netball/football social. The social theme was ‘famous pairs’ and we went as fried egg and bacon. We’ve been together ever since that night
How did you decide on Delamere Manor as your venue?
We searched for a number of venues online and went to see them. We decided on Delamere Manor due to the relaxed feel and the facilities at the venue
What were your favourite moments from the day?
Getting ready with bridesmaids Parents seeing me in my dress and having 5 minutes with them to take in the amazing moment Seeing each other walking down the aisle Walking into the wedding breakfast Speeches & dinner Evening reception

What are your best wedding planning tips?
Start early
Don’t rush planning the different elements – take your time to avoid you changing your mind on things
Make sure you have personal details (it’s your wedding after all and you don’t want it to be cookie cutter)
Stop worrying about what people will think – this is your day
Give your bridal/groomsmen parties specific jobs for the day of the wedding
