How did you meet & get engaged?
We met on an online dating app (unless grandparents ask then we say we met at a bar 🙈) We got engaged in December 2019 on Christmas Day at home and it was perfect!
How did you decide on Woodland Hotel as your wedding venue?
We had been to a few different venues but nothing quite jumped out to us until we got to Woodlands! Woodlands had everything we wanted, it was bright, modern and had a house party vibe with lots of different rooms that people could enjoy in the evening
What were your favourite moments from the day?
So many perfect moments to choose from! But I think our favourite moment was the ceremony! It was so much more relaxed than we expected, full of emotions, laughter and all our friends and family 🤍
What did you first dance to?
Our first dance was Blessed by Thomas Rhett. We knew no one would really know the song but it meant so much to us! We then faded the song into Toms favourite song ‘seven nation army’ so everyone could join us on the dance floor
What are your best wedding planning tips?
Don’t let the stress win!! Enjoy the planning and take every moment in! Book your suppliers early and join lots of Facebook groups to get a mix of advice.
How did you choose me for your Woodlands wedding photography?
I came across your Instagram years ago, way before we got engaged so as soon as we got engaged I knew exactly which photographer I wanted! 🙈 We loved the bright photos and the natural shots! The photos are everything we wanted and more and Sarah made us feel so at ease! You are the BEST photographer 🤍
