I had the pleasure of shooting Chrissie and Jack’s Pendrell Hall wedding in February 2020! You may recognise them from their beautiful pre-wedding session in the confetti fields at Shropshire Petals last summer.
How did you decide on Pendrell Hall for your wedding?
Chrissie has seen and been to many wedding venues in North Shropshire/Cheshire border and worked at many marquee weddings. We went to choose Chrissie’s ring and while waiting for it to be resized, looked at venues online. We made sure Sarah was available to do the photos on the date we chose and booked it the following weekend. The relaxed and warm feel, flow of the venue and that we could supply our own drinks in the day was perfect for us. We decided to use the church Jack was christened in as this was close by and added a traditional element to the day.
What were your favourite moments from the day?
The whole day was perfect. Chrissie’s family stayed at Pendrell the night before so got ready at the venue. Seeing each other for the first time in church and sharing that moment with our best friends was amazing. We had loads of confetti outside church as Jack works on the Shropshire Petals farm. The speeches were a highlight and the evening entertainment was incredible. We had Apollo Soul band and Christian Fletcher (magician) and both went down a storm with our guests.

Where are you going on honeymoon?
We’re having a few days at Rudding Park in Harrogate just after the wedding and we’re going to Jamaica for our honeymoon.
How did you choose me as your Pendrell Hall Wedding photographer?
We were scrolling through Instagram at photographers, found you and completely loved your style of photography so pretty much booked off seeing your Instagram! Thank you so much Sarah, you helped make our day run smoothly and most of the time, didn’t realise you were there!
