I recently headed up to Rivington Hall Barn for the first time for Sophie and Andrew’s wedding photography. It was my first time at the venue and its absolutely beautiful! Here are some words from them!
How did you meet/get engaged?
We met on a night out in Bolton and got engaged on a weekend away at our favourite place we go each year. Andy asked me to marry him while in my scruffs following a massage! Ha
How did you decide on Rivington Hall Barn as your venue?
When we met, I already had a daughter Lilly, Andy and I would often going walking up Rivington and said if we were to get married it would always be Rivington barn, so when we got engaged it was the obvious choice for us as it hold such a sentimental value
What were your favourite moments from your day?
For us both the actual ceremony when they announced we were husband and wife was the best time. We also loved dancing the night away; not only our first day but all of the dances we had together. Knowing all our guests had a good time also made us so happy!
What did you first dance to?
We danced to sky full of stars by Coldplay
What are your best wedding planning tips?
We always say we needed the best photographer and videographer as this is where you will see the memories you make on your special day come to life following the most perfect day! Plan for you and what makes your happy and not what others may want.
